In the works since 1976 and finally available to the public, Apple Barn Hard Cider Co. crafts hard ciders on-site using a unique sterile filtration method — rather than full pasteurization — to retain as much of the fresh apple cider taste as possible. The result is a crisp, clean, and smooth cider that tastes nothing like the cooked-apple flavor common in mass-market brands. You won't find hard cider like this anywhere else.
All ciders are available on tap for fresh growler fills, with fan favorites including Berry Patch (loganberries and apples) and C'N Red (apples and locally grown red muscadines). Apple Barn Hard Cider Co. is part of the Rocky Top Wine Trail and is located next door to Apple Barn Winery in Sevierville.
